Beer Battered Fish

I got this recipe from Kylie Kwong's cook show on TV. Love her style of cooking and her beautiful personality. She shows appreciation for everything in the kitchen. From the tiniest thing like the sizzling sound that came from the food that's cooking on the stove, the aroma of fresh ingredients or cooked food.. down to the utensils and chinaware.

And Jamie Oliver behaves in that way too!

Ingredients

Fish fillets
1 cup of flour

1 cup of beer

3-5 pieces of ice cubes
Salt
Pepper

Preparation

Rub fish fillets with salt and pepper.
Mix flour, beer and ice cubes together to create a batter.
Dip fillets into batter and make sure they are well coated.

Deep fry the coated fillets over medium high heat.

Remove from heat when the fillets turn golden brown.

Set aside to drain away excess oil.

Serve with lemon wedges. (optional)
