Do You Know? #1

  • Sugar, lemon/lime juice or sour cream can be added to neutralise food that are too spicy.

  • Salt or a shot of tequila can be added to neutralise the bitterness in food.

  • To reduce the saltiness in soups or stews, potatoes can be added and cooked together for at least 30 minutes.
