Deep Fried Prawns with Wasabi-mayo Dip


Ingredients

8-10 large-sized prawns (shells removed up to the tail part)
1/2 egg (beaten)
Cornflour for dusting
Breadcrumbs for coating

Dipping sauce
1/3 teaspoon of wasabi
2 teaspoons of mayonnaise
A few drops of lemon juice (optional)

Preparation
Combine all the ingredients for the dipping sauce and mix well.
Set aside.
Dust the prawns with cornflour, dip into the beaten egg and coat with breadcrumbs.
Deep fry the prawns for 2-3 minutes or till they turn into a crispy golden brown over medium heat.
Serve hot with the dipping sauce.
